SNAILO Website Terms

These terms apply to your use of the SNAILO website at snailo.club (the "site"). The site is run by [BUSINESS LEGAL NAME] (ABN [ABN]), based in Australia ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. This is a pre-launch site

SNAILO hasn't launched yet. The site describes a web platform we're building for artists who run paid monthly snail-mail subscriptions. Features, timing and pricing described on the site are our current plans and may change before launch.

2. Joining the waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free. It does not create any obligation for you or for us. In particular:

  • you don't have to sign up for SNAILO when it launches;
  • we don't guarantee that SNAILO will launch, or when; and
  • apart from the founding artist offer in section 3, we don't guarantee any particular features, availability or pricing unless we confirm them with you in writing.

3. Founding artist offer

If we accept you as a founding artist before [OFFER END DATE], SNAILO's platform fees are waived for 12 months from the date you first sign up for a SNAILO artist account.

The offer covers SNAILO's own platform fees only. It does not cover:

  • Stripe payment processing fees;
  • postage; or
  • the cost of producing your mail.

The offer is personal to you and can't be transferred to anyone else.

After the 12 months end, [STANDARD FEE] applies. We'll give you at least [NOTICE PERIOD] notice before you're charged. You can export your subscriber list or close your account at any time.

4. Our content

The SNAILO name, logo, text, design and other content on the site belong to us or our licensors. You're welcome to view and share links to the site, but please don't copy, republish or use our content or branding for commercial purposes without our written permission.

5. Using the site

Please use the site lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

  • submit false information or sign up someone else without their permission;
  • submit content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes anyone's rights;
  • try to interfere with, hack, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site; or
  • use automated tools to scrape the site or spam our forms.

We may remove waitlist entries that break these rules.

6. Liability

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but it's provided "as is" during pre-launch and we can't promise it will always be error-free or online.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on information on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Where our liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to the extent the law allows.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as SNAILO develops. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
